Hurricane Helene
I’ve covered numerous hurricanes and tropical storms, and have experienced a few firsthand, including Hurricane Isaias.
Throughout my coverage, I provided live reports not only to this page but also to WRAL, a news station in Raleigh, NC.
Hurricane Helene, however, was different. Known for bringing catastrophic damage to western North Carolina, Helene’s impact resonated deeply across the state. This storm put my work in the spotlight — locally, statewide, nationally, and even internationally.
