A typical late June day ahead with slightly lower humidity. Happy Friday, North Carolina! High pressure will be in control of our weather; the passage of the cold front did allow for a little lower humidity. Partly to mostly sunny skies will give way to higher in the mid/upper 80s and low 90s statewide. I can't rule out an isolated thunderstorm, but the vast majority of the state will be dry. We need rain, but I don't see widespread soaking rain anytime soon.
