High pressure will remain in control of our weather for the foreseeable future, and temperatures will slowly increase over the next few days. Highs today will be in the 60s for most areas, with upper 50s in the mountains. Quiet weather is expected for the state, with sunny skies and dry conditions.
Due to king tides and a breeze, increased tides are expected along the coast. Some ocean overwash and minor coastal flooding is possible, especially along the Outer Banks.
