It's a new day across the state, and a cold front is coming later today! Happy Monday, North Carolina! As I look over the morning data, I see that we have a cold front that'll be moving through the state today. It is a quiet morning with some spotty fog. We will see partly to mostly sunny skies; ahead of the cold front temps will warm into the 70s and 80s. I expect another mostly quiet day, although I do think a shower or a storm could develop this late afternoon and evening across parts of Eastern and Southeastern NC along the sea breeze and where the front is, so don't be surprised by that. Once the front clears, temps will fall into the 50s and 40s for most areas tonight, with cooler temps across the state for Tuesday.
