Another tranquil day is ahead across the state. A new day is ahead, and it is going to be a mild one. Happy Wednesday, North Carolina! The morning data, as I look over it this morning, shows temperatures in the 50s and 40s for most areas; highs will soar with the sun. I expect mostly sunny skies as high pressure remains in control of our weather; highs will be in the 70s to low 80s for most areas. We’ll continue our dry weather streak; some areas have not seen rain in over 20 days.
