Rain chances early then turning mild for the afternoon 60s and 70s are here. Happy Sunday, North Carolina! Today will take on a different look; rain chances will be around through part of the morning, mainly from Raleigh east; it will quickly end by mid-morning from west to east. Then the day will become partly cloudy with more clouds than sun across the state; highs will be in the 60s and 70s for most with 50s in the mountains. Today will be the warmest day of the next 7-9 days; another system will bring a soaking rain tonight into Monday. I'll have more on that later.
