Even though it is now cold the tropics are still active, hurricane season doesn’t officially end until November 30th. A tropical wave is located just south and east of the Bahamas, this system has a high chance of becoming a tropical depression or storm in the next 5 days. The good news is, we have a lot of strong troughs moving through this week. This system will most likely be picked up and sent out to sea, but as usual I’ll watch it closely until it is north of our latitude!
